The system operates quietly, with a maximum noise level of 57 dB in turbo mode, ensuring minimal disruption in the operating room.
Equipped with a four-stage ULPA filter (SEA3700), the RapidVac™ system offers 99.9995% filtration efficiency at 0.12 microns, effectively removing harmful particulates and odors. The filter has a 25-hour activation time, reducing the need for frequent replacements and minimizing per-procedure costs. The system features multiple operation modes, including Standby, RapidVac Plus, footswitch, and continuous operation, providing flexibility to suit various surgical needs.
Designed for use in both open and laparoscopic procedures, the RapidVac™ Smoke Evacuator is compatible with Medtronic electrosurgical generators. It can be synchronized with these generators via an interlink cable, ensuring that smoke is evacuated only when the electrosurgical pencil is activated. This synchronization reduces background noise and maximizes filter life. The system also includes a service indicator to alert users when motor brush replacement is needed, ensuring optimal performance.
