The dual‑speed control gives the operator flexibility: a lower speed for controlled cuts in delicate anatomical regions, and a higher speed for removing thicker or more robust sections of cast. The built‑in vacuum interface further enhances safety by drawing away dust and debris, improving visibility and reducing airborne particulates during the procedure.

The 940‑23 ion nitrided blade is matched to this cutter to provide enhanced durability, reduced heat buildup, and smoother cutting, especially in synthetic or composite casting materials.
