The Stryker model 275‑722 is a 4.5 mm cutter cannula designed specifically for use in arthroscopic surgical procedures. Engineered for compatibility with Stryker’s small-joint shavers (Speed‑Lock™ system) and 4.0 mm arthroscopes, this cannula serves as a reusable access channel through which blades and burs are introduced into the joint space. It accommodates both 3.5 mm and 4.0 mm cutters, providing surgeons with flexibility in tissue removal options depending on the anatomy and surgical task.

Accompanying the cannula, the 275‑722‑200 obturator is a rigid, tapered instrument used to safely guide the cannula into position before initiating joint access. The full assembly is approximately 5 ½ inches (≈82 mm) in length, a standard dimension for maintaining optimal reach while preserving control in small-joint environments. The obturator’s smooth metal shaft ensures atraumatic insertion and may optionally include a clear-tip version to support visual guidance during portal entry.
